By default our benchtops are supplied with an external grade plywood substrate which removes any 'drumming', and eliminates the usual deterioration due to moisture.
Available in either 304, 316 (a.k.a. marine) grade stainless, or a combination of the two. For example 316 grade tops to better resist staining from chemicals etc, and 304 grade supporting frames (a popular configuration for school science labs or similar) helps keep the cost down while maintaining a high quality product.
We also place the footrail right at the bottom of the legs to make it more comfortable to rest your feet on, and we only use high quality castors which can be ordered in any combination of locking or non-locking versions.
