The Bulcock Beach redevelopment at Caloundra was a multi-million dollar building project awarded to Hutchinson Builders.
Bell Stainless was pleased for the opportunity to work closely with them and architects Place Design, including during the design phase
The finish for this job was originally going to be electropolished, but after some test pieces it was decided a hand-polished finish would be better suited to the harsh salty environment. This has proven to be a good strategy over time
Construction work on the first stage began mid-2009, with completion of the final stage about 12 months later
We've peridocally monitored this project for tea stains due to it's exposure to the elements. Here's some of our findings over the past few years
