Warranty policy - extended

In addition to our standard warranty policy, Bell Stainless can sometimes offer a site-specific extended warranty on jobs or projects which meet or exceed the general conditions listed below, and any additional site-specific conditions that may apply to the job or project, for up to 15 years.

These extended warranty terms do not automatically apply to any job or project, and if offered by Bell Stainless are intended as a value-added addition to a high value asset, with long-term benefits to the aesthetic and structural integrity of the asset.

General terms for our extended warranty:

Bell Stainless assets are warranted to be free from defects in materials and / or workmanship for the period of the extended warranty, from the date of installation. Within this time we will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace any components that fail in normal use. Such repairs or replacement will be made at no charge to you (the client) for parts and / or labour.

This warranty does not apply to:

(i) cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks or dents;

(ii) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, or other act of nature or external causes;

(iii) damage caused by service performed by anyone who's not an authorised service provider of Bell Stainless;

(iv) damage as a result of modifications to the asset without the prior written permission of Bell Stainless (including any "protective coatings" that may be applied by others); or

(v) the surface finish of the asset if it hasn't been cleaned and maintained to Bell Stainless specifications on an annual basis. These specifications include:

• the use of a high quality stainless steel cleaner. We use, recommend and supply Quickleen-S as it does a great job of cleaning, it's non-toxic, and biodegradable - click this link for more information,

• thorough cleaning of all surfaces, especially in crevices and joins in the material, and

• rinsing with fresh water after cleaning.

If an extended warranty is a consideration for your project, please discuss it with our sales staff prior to quotation, as this is something that generally cannot be added once a job or project has begun.

Also please note that extended warranties from Bell Stainless do not include modifications or repair work to other fabricator's benches.
